Re: Brazilian Minicomics
Hi Marcelo,
These are GREAT! It's pretty rare to find loose Estrela mini-comics based on my experiences. A Shazam Estrela mini-comic sold back in August for $117.50 that was in very nice condition. I consider Shazam, Cyborg, and Plastic Man to be the most valuable and desirable Estrela mini-comics since they're exclusive to the Estrela company. These ones look like they have some dirt or staining and tape on the covers which affects value to some extent, but they're still very nice and rare in my opinion. There aren't too many existing sales to go on, but in this condition I'd estimate they are worth $25-35 each. If you're interested in selling them, let me know (michaelmensinger@aol.com) and we can work out a price that we're both happy with. I'd be thrilled to add these to my mini-comic collection!

I'd just like to say that I'll pay more than Mike for anything Super Powers.
Thank you.

Re: Brazilian Minicomics
Thanks for answering Mike and Chip!
I hate those tapes too - and you know what is surprisingly sad about it? It's ESRELA's fault =(
There was usually an adhesive tape joining the figure and minicomic. Why? I have no idea.
And no one cared or complained because there was no "collecting spirit" at that time in Brazil. In fact I was the only kid I know that didn't sent minicomics to the trash can after reading it once or twice.
At least Estrela didn't commited this crime to every figure (two of my minicomics don't have the diagonal tape mark).

Thank you.
We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

Re: Brazilian Minicomics
LOL.
I just said I would...I didn't say I could.
I'm certain I make less in a month than you make in a week.
There has been a certain large amount of luck involved as far as what I've been able to acquire, for sure.
Peace,
Chip

I suspected it!
This tape thing was an Estrela's dumb and unusual action - so I tought it would be hard to non-Brazilians believe on it.
At least Shazam mini comic photo don't let me lie
If someday you open your MOC Brazilian figures I'm sure there's a high chance of you see this disaster for yourselves. My tip: keep them closed
