Info/advice

I am wondering if anyone here has bought a loose complete batcopter recently? I have been looking for one to complete my loose collection and have not found any that are decently priced. That being said I did purchase a mint in box bat copter about a year ago for under 350 dollars. I am thinking at this point it might be easier just to open that one and call it a day. So I am wondering what a loose complete bat copter is really worth and what they typically are going for.

I haven't bought one (ends up too rich for my blood) but the loose ones I have seen usually end up being anywhere from $150-250. Ones in not so good condition are around the $100-150 mark.

I would encourage you to keep your batcopter sealed. It is worth way way more that way. I pieced together a batcopter from two parts lots a few years ago for probably 50 bucks or so. You could keep an eye out for incomplete ones and possibly use parts from the Kenner Batman line batcopter to fill in missing parts until the right ones come along.

I've always questioned the logic of leaving a collectable sealed in the box if you can't see it. Is it really the correct item? Is it missing parts? Is it damaged? How would you really know if you don't at least partially open it up?

I have the same thought nickinny and I have seen lately some loose batcopter go for what I paid for my in box one and over what I paid for it so now it is getting hard not to open it

I haven't done any checking on the prices, but it stands to reason a loose one has gone up in price the. A sealed one likely has gone up more than the loose one right? If so why not sell the sealed one and buy a loose one? This would give you the loose sample you desire and some money in your pocket.

Edit* just check the price and found these.

AFA graded sealed in box

The sealed in box ended the highest (of course it was AFA graded). Still I would think a sealed in box ungraded would sell higher than a loose with box, so I think you would be better selling it to get your loose one and still have a little left over.
