Hey guys i posted some pictures of my collection in the new acquisitions forum, but i figured i'd formally introduce myself on this forum:
Name: David
occupation: dentist
location: West Virginia
collecting since late 1980's
collecting interest: my focus now and since the late 80's have been the super powers and secret wars lines like many of us on here. I was lucky as a child due to my dad's regret of selling/giving away his toys, and now wanting to have them back as he grew older. because of this my dad kept most all of my old toys, and a lot of times the boxes and packaging. since he did this i'm lucky enough to have all of the toys i had as a child, and now it's still a hobby for my dad and i to continue and enjoy together.
Over the years we have collected and I can now say we finally have the complete collection of all the domestic super powers and secret wars. Now we are going for a complete carded collection of both lines, since my childhood figures are obviously loose. I'd also like to acquire the three foreign secret wars figures and an estrela black batman.
I'd like to say thanks to all creators and participants of this forum. Some of you have already helped me acquire some nice pieces for our collection, and honestly my dad and i just enjoy seeing everyones addiction to the super powers line. thanks
