2014 Collecting Goals
It's that time of year yet again!
As with past years, we ask that you take a look back at what your goals were last year and reflect/set new goals.
For our new/newer members that missed out last year you are always more than welcome to join in this year!

I looked over my goals of 2013 which included talking someone out of their green arrow proof card... 
I'll have to work on that.
This year I'm on the hunt for Super Amigo's Robin and Shazam. Always on the look out for Green Arrow stuff.

2013 was an overall great year collecting for me!
I'm happy to report that my GA focus is complete!
Not only did I add a MOC Aussie GA (1st one I'd ever seen), but I finally managed to acquire a MOC Estrela GA (Thanks buddy! You know who you are.) Unless a Palitoy or NIBO GA surface, I can say I have "collected" them all.
Sticking with SP, I also finished my loose Estrela figure focus landing Flash. Thanks Jon!
Non SP- I finished my loose Star Wars set of figures and creatures.
As for 2014:
Still looking for Estrela mini comics for Superman and Aquaman.
Need Kent sticker Lex and MOC Estrela and Palitoy Lex to finish off that focus.
Of course I'd like to add a GA Hardcopy piece this year as well!
I want to finish off the Indy line, needing only Marion and Belloq.
Add to my slow growing Silverhawks line, since I only have a few production figures, but the prototypes are a great start to the collection so I'm extremely happy to have them!!!!
(NOTE: By saying complete I mean production released items.)

I'm gonna hold you to that brother! I'm pretty sure someone did buy that GA presentation board and it wasn't either of us! Hard to believe!

I don't know that I particularly had any 'goals' last year, other than the ongoing goal of adding Flash items to my collection. I managed to snag a loose Lili Ledy, and I've almost paid off a grail piece, so I'm calling 2013 a collecting 'win' :-)
As for next year, I'm hoping to finally add either a trilingual Flash or a proof card to my collection. Anything beyond that is gravy.

My collecting goal will be quite modest. Just be able to add anything, here and there, over the next year. Just finished my last classes this week, so now its time to hunker down and study for the bar. With loans coming due in 6 months and a wedding in 7, money will be tight this year, so any minor additions here or there will be nice.

For me I'm really hoping to finish up my Star Wars 12 back run. Need 5 more. Vader, Luke, Ben, Sand People, and Stormtrooper.
For Super Powers I'm just looking to add interesting stuff whenever I can and work on grading some more of my collection. Id also like to add a proof card this year. Still haven't gotten any in my collection.

One thing I very recently accomplished in 2013 was completing my loose set of SP figures, all graded AFA 85 or better. In effect this was a 20+ year collecting endeavor that I plan to post about at some point.
As to goals for 2014, it's just to generally move forward with trying to complete a set of US carded SP figures on their first issued card and to get the few remaining sealed boxed vehicles (and HOJ play-set) I need. Because I want all of these items in high-grade (AFA 85 or better), I am figuring this will take years to achieve and may never happen.
Otherwise, just interesting advertising displays and pre-production items if and when they come up.
