Are you seeking loose figures, mint on the card, everything, or are you focusing on a character and its variants?

Prices for loose figures seem to be on the rise. I would watch for lots/groups of figures to purchase at the same time (rather than individually). With one or two exceptions, I was able to complete the set at roughly $5 per figure (not mint and some lacking accessories).

So far I have 16 figures and the Batmobile. I have paid roughly 10 or less per figure. It's been fun trying to get them and stay under ten bucks. I have all of wave 1 except for Penguin and Brainiac and have six from wave two. The wave three figures are ridiculous right now and can't convince myself(or my wife) to spend that much on a single figure. Even though wave three has some very cool figures!

I'm still working on finding a reasonably priced Brainiac on card. The arm on him typically snaps off because that's how you exercise his "power action" kick.

I would settle for a displayable loose Brainiac. Even ones with broken arms are a tad expensive.
