Another awesome update. It says on the shockwave that there is also a metal dowel used to hold the lower leg to the thigh, is that referring to a knee joint? So the hardcopy has articulation at the knee?

What a great update Mike! I was REALLY excited about this update and you did not let me down! Those watermarks don't deter at all from the images.
Brian, yes there is articulation in the knees, though I wouldn't bend him there. Sometimes wooden dowels were used as well. Personally I like the metal dowels. I think they hold up better over time.

Glad you guys enjoyed the update! I was hoping it would be well received!!
Bryan, as Ken confirmed there is articulation on all Super Powers wax master sculptings and finalized hardcopies with the exception of Cyborg and Brainiac since those were straight legged figures due to the vac metallization process. There are some preliminary sculpts in hardcopy form where they have one-piece legs though like the ones seen here and here for example.
