Custom
Hey all,
So I got a couple beaters and this Batman already had some broken ears so I decided to go with a dark knight theme. Theres nothing like painting and repainting, will probably be doing some more. Whats the best way to do a protective coating/simplest way?
Cheers

Re: Custom
I don't know about a protective coating but I just wanted to say that's a really really good job. Impressive paint skills!

Re: Custom
If you want shiny protectant you can use a spray on clear coat.
If you want a dull protectant use spray on dull cote.

Re: Custom
Thanks! Im just using supplies from Wal Mart and it is a lot of fun. Is that stuff available in places, and is it basically like spray paint?

Re: Custom
It can be found in a hobby store or craft store. It will be in the same general location as model paint.
Think of it like the final coat of paint on your car. It's not really a paint color, since it's clear, but it's designed to protect the paint.
